Log in to your account
Go to hemingwayapp.com and click 'Log in' in the top-right corner. Sign in with Google or enter your email address to receive a magic sign-in link.
Open the account menu
Once logged in, click on your email address or profile icon in the top-right corner of the editor interface to open the account/navigation menu.
Navigate to the Billing page
In the account menu, click 'Billing' to open your subscription and payment settings.
Cancel your subscription
On the Billing page, locate the option to cancel or end your subscription and click it. Confirm any follow-up prompts to complete the cancellation.
If no self-service option, email support
If you cannot find a cancel button on the Billing page, email support@hemingwayapp.com from your account email address with the subject 'Cancel my subscription'. Include your account email and plan type. Send this well before your next renewal date — some users report slow response times.
Check for confirmation email
Look for a cancellation confirmation email in your inbox. If you do not receive one within 2 business days, follow up with support to confirm the cancellation was processed.
