Go to your membership site
Navigate to the specific website where you signed up for your Memberful-powered membership. The URL typically follows the pattern [site-name].memberful.com/account or is linked from the site's header as 'Sign In' or 'My Account'.
Sign in to your member account
Log in using your email address and password. If you forgot your password, use the 'Forgot password?' link on the login page to receive a reset email.
Open the Subscriptions page
Once logged in, click on 'Subscriptions' in the account navigation menu. This lists all your active and past subscriptions.
Click 'Cancel subscription'
Find the active subscription you want to cancel and click the 'Cancel subscription' button next to it. This stops automatic renewal at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
Complete the cancellation survey (optional)
If the site owner has enabled a cancellation survey, you will be shown a form asking for a cancellation reason (e.g. 'Too expensive', 'Not using it enough'). Select a reason or skip it entirely — it is optional.
Review or decline any retention offer
If you qualify for a retention discount, the site will display a discount offer on the confirmation screen before finalizing the cancellation. You can accept the discount to stay, or click 'No thanks' / decline to proceed with the cancellation.
Confirm cancellation
Confirm the cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email. Your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, after which your subscription will not renew.
