Review your contract terms
Locate your signed Panopto enterprise agreement and check the cancellation notice period — typically 30–90 days before your renewal date. Auto-renewal clauses are standard; missing the notice window may bind you to another term.
Export all video content
Before initiating cancellation, download all videos as MP4 files. In Panopto, open each video, click the settings gear icon, then select 'Download' > 'Video File (MP4)'. Panopto's Terms of Service state content may be deleted from live databases upon termination.
Contact your Account Manager
Reach out to the dedicated Panopto Account Manager assigned at the time of your contract signing. This is the primary and preferred cancellation route for enterprise customers. Inform them you wish to cancel or not renew your subscription.
Alternatively, email Customer Success
If you do not have your Account Manager's contact, email customersuccess@panopto.com stating your organization name, account details, and intent to cancel or not renew. For general support, use support@panopto.com.
Or submit a contact form
Go to https://www.panopto.com/contact-us/ and fill out the form. In the message field, specify that you are requesting cancellation or non-renewal of your subscription. A representative will follow up.
Await written confirmation
Request written confirmation (email) from Panopto that your cancellation or non-renewal has been processed. Keep this for your records to avoid being charged for a renewal period.
