Identify your subscription platform
Determine how you originally subscribed: iOS (App Store), Android (Google Play), or directly via tinder.com with a credit card. You must cancel through the same platform used to purchase — cancellations do not transfer between platforms.
Cancel via iOS — open iPhone Settings
If you subscribed through the App Store: open the iPhone Settings app → tap your name at the very top → tap 'Subscriptions'. Find Tinder in the active subscriptions list and tap it.
Cancel via iOS — tap 'Cancel Subscription'
On the Tinder subscription screen tap 'Cancel Subscription' at the bottom, then tap 'Confirm' in the confirmation dialog. You will see a note that access continues until the billing period ends.
Cancel via Android — open Google Play Store
If you subscribed through Google Play: open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile icon in the top-right corner → tap 'Payments & subscriptions' → tap 'Subscriptions' → find Tinder in the list.
Cancel via Android — confirm cancellation
Tap Tinder in the subscriptions list → tap 'Cancel subscription' → follow the on-screen prompts (Google may ask a reason) → tap 'Cancel subscription' again to confirm.
Cancel via tinder.com (direct/credit card subscribers)
If you subscribed directly on the website: log in at tinder.com → click your profile icon in the top-left corner → click 'Manage Account' → scroll to the 'Subscription' section → click 'Cancel' next to your active Tinder Plus plan → follow the prompts to confirm.
Verify cancellation confirmation
You should receive a confirmation email from Tinder or your respective app store. Your Tinder Plus features remain active until the end of the current paid billing period — you will not lose access immediately.
