What happens to my account after I cancel?

Your account automatically downgrades to the free E-Sign plan. All users retain login access and recipients can still sign documents already sent. You lose access to premium features such as bulk Archive export and Contract Management (Enterprise Plus).

Can I get a refund after canceling?

GetAccept offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you cancel within 14 days of initial purchase you are eligible for a full refund. Outside this window, refunds are generally not provided for remaining contract time.

How much advance notice is required to cancel?

GetAccept requires 60 days written notice before your renewal date. If you miss this window you may be charged for another full subscription period and must wait until the next renewal to exit.

What happens to my documents after cancellation?

Existing documents remain accessible and pending recipients can still sign them. However, you should bulk-download all signed documents before the downgrade takes effect, because bulk export is a paid-plan-only feature. After downgrade, documents must be downloaded individually.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. You can upgrade back to a paid plan at any time by going to your profile icon, selecting 'Subscription plan', and choosing a new tier — or by contacting GetAccept sales directly.

Is there any way to cancel without emailing finance?

Officially, no. GetAccept's own help center states that paid-plan users must contact the finance department by email to close their account. There is no guaranteed self-service cancellation button for business subscriptions.

Check your subscription details

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select 'Subscription plan' to review your current plan type (monthly vs. annual) and next renewal date.

Bulk-download signed documents

Before canceling, go to your Archive and bulk-download all signed documents. After downgrade to the free plan, bulk export is no longer available and you must download documents one at a time.

Send cancellation email to finance

Email the regional finance team with your account name, registered email address, and cancellation request. EU customers: finance@getaccept.com — US customers: finance-us@getaccept.com. There is no self-serve cancel button for paid business plans.

Observe the 60-day notice requirement

GetAccept requires 60 days written notice before your renewal date. Send your cancellation email well in advance of the next billing cycle or you will be locked into another full period.

Await written confirmation

Wait for a reply from GetAccept's finance team confirming your cancellation. Keep this confirmation email as proof that your request was received and processed.
