Sign in to Ancestry
Go to ancestry.com and sign in to your account.
Go to Account Settings
Click your name and select 'Account Settings'.
Navigate to Membership
Click 'Subscription' or 'Membership & Billing'.
Click Cancel Membership
Click 'Cancel membership' and select a reason.
Decline retention offers
Ancestry may offer discounts or free months. Decline to continue.
Confirm cancellation
Confirm the cancellation. Your family tree is preserved but historical record access ends.
