Review your contract terms
Check your Atlan contract for the notice period required to cancel (typically 60–90 days before renewal date). Atlan is an enterprise, sales-led platform with annual contracts — there is no self-serve cancellation button in the product UI.
Locate your Customer Success contact
If you have a Premium or Enterprise plan, identify your assigned Data Success Manager (DSM) or Customer Success Manager (CSM). Their contact details will be in your onboarding emails or your Atlan workspace admin area.
Email support or your CSM
Send a cancellation or non-renewal request to support@atlan.com (or directly to your CSM/DSM). Include your workspace name, account email, and a clear statement that you wish to cancel or not renew. For AWS Marketplace subscribers, initiate cancellation through the AWS Marketplace console instead.
Submit a formal support request
Optionally, file a formal request at https://ask.atlan.com/hc/en-us/requests/new to create a tracked support ticket for your cancellation. Reference your contract end date and required notice period.
Confirm cancellation in writing
Request written confirmation from Atlan that your cancellation or non-renewal has been accepted. Keep this for your records, especially important given annual prepayment terms.
Request data export before access ends
Before your subscription expires, export any metadata, glossaries, or assets you need. After expiry, access is limited. For full data deletion, email privacy@atlan.com.
