No. Sudowrite guarantees it will never hold your writing hostage. You can always access and edit your projects, but AI features will be locked once your paid billing period ends.

How long do I keep access after canceling?

You retain full access, including AI features, until the end of your current billing period. After that, AI features are disabled but your documents remain readable and editable.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

Generally no — Sudowrite does not refund fees on cancellation due to the nature of digital services. The only exception is a 7-day satisfaction guarantee for new paid subscribers: email hi@sudowrite.com within 7 days of starting a paid plan to request a refund.

Can I pause instead of canceling?

Yes, but only on monthly plans. You can pause for up to 3 months, which stops billing and credit refresh temporarily. Annual plan subscribers cannot pause and must cancel outright.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. Log back in to editor.sudowrite.com at any time and resubscribe to restore AI feature access.
