When does my access end after cancelling?

Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account automatically downgrades to the free Hobby plan — you don't lose access entirely.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Mintlify's Terms of Service explicitly state that all fees are non-refundable and not subject to set-off, regardless of how much time remains in your billing cycle.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. Since your account drops to the free Hobby plan (not deleted), you can upgrade again at any time from the Billing settings page in your dashboard. No waiting period is required.

What happens to my documentation after cancellation?

Your docs remain accessible on the Hobby (free) plan with reduced features. Team member access, AI Assistant, password protection, and preview deployments are removed, but your content is not deleted.

How do I delete my data after cancelling?

Mintlify does not immediately delete your data on cancellation. To request full deletion, email hi@mintlify.com or submit a data subject request. Note: accounts with unpaid invoices for 90+ days may have data permanently deleted.

Do I need to give notice before my renewal date?

For monthly plans, you can cancel any time and it takes effect at period end. Enterprise/Custom plans require written notice at least 30 days before the renewal date — missing this deadline may result in being charged for another full term.

Log in to Mintlify Dashboard

Go to https://dashboard.mintlify.com and sign in with your account credentials.

Open Settings

Click on 'Settings' in the left sidebar navigation.

Go to Billing

Select 'Billing' from the Settings submenu. You'll land on https://dashboard.mintlify.com/settings/billing showing your current plan, payment method, and invoices.

Open the plan menu

Locate the three-dot menu icon (...) next to your current active plan (e.g., Pro).

Select 'Cancel Subscription'

Click the three-dot icon and choose 'Cancel Subscription' from the dropdown. This option is not prominently displayed — it is hidden in this overflow menu.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm the cancellation in the dialog that appears. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, then revert to the free Hobby plan.
