Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. Your paid access continues until the end of the current subscription period. Cancellation only stops the automatic renewal — you are not cut off mid-term.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Generally no. Trustpilot does not issue refunds for already-paid fees on standard cancellations. Exceptions apply only if Trustpilot makes a material change to service functionality, terminates the service entirely, or terminates your account for bad-fit business values — in those cases a prorated refund of the remaining prepaid period is issued.

What happens to my reviews when I cancel?

All reviews collected on your Trustpilot profile remain publicly visible after cancellation and even after full account deletion. Only the review authors or Trustpilot (for guideline violations) can remove individual reviews.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can reactivate by logging back into business.trustpilot.com and resubscribing. Your existing profile and public reviews remain accessible.

What happens to my account after cancellation?

After cancellation you are downgraded to the Free plan and retain basic profile access. If you also choose to fully delete your business account, Trustpilot processes data deletion per their Privacy Policy, but public consumer reviews remain on the platform.

What if I bought Trustpilot through a reseller or partner?

Emailing cancellation@trustpilot.com will not be sufficient. You must contact the partner or reseller directly and follow the cancellation terms in your agreement with them.

Log in to Trustpilot Business

Go to https://business.trustpilot.com and log in with your business account credentials.

Open Plans & Billing

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select "Plans & billing" from the dropdown menu to review your current subscription and renewal date.

Note your renewal date

Check your subscription renewal date carefully. Trustpilot requires the cancellation email to be received at least 30 days before your renewal date — missing this window means you are auto-renewed for another full 12-month term.

Send cancellation email

Send an email to cancellation@trustpilot.com from the email address of the person authorised to sign contracts for your account (the contract holder). Include your business name, domain, and account details in the body.

Await confirmation

Trustpilot will confirm receipt. If the email cannot be automatically matched to your account, their Commercial team will reach out to verify. Cancellation is effective from the date your original email was received, not the reply date.
