Locate your subscription end date
Log in to the Dynatrace platform, click the user menu in the bottom-left corner, and select 'Account Management' to open myaccount.dynatrace.com. Find your subscription end date on the Order Form or in the subscription details. You must send your non-renewal notice at least 60 days before this date or the contract auto-renews.
Send written non-renewal notice by email
Compose an email stating you do not wish to renew your Dynatrace subscription. Send it To: WW-Renewals-Team@dynatrace.com and CC: legalnotices@dynatrace.com. Include your company name, account/tenant ID, and the subscription end date. This email is required — there is no in-product cancel button.
Notify your Account Representative
Contact your assigned Dynatrace Account Representative or reach Dynatrace Sales at sales@dynatrace.com or +1-888-833-3652 to confirm the non-renewal. Ask for written confirmation that your non-renewal has been recorded.
Export your data before the end date
Before your subscription expires, export all monitoring data, dashboards, and configurations you wish to keep. After termination, Dynatrace makes Customer Data available for up to 30 days only, after which it may be permanently deleted.
Confirm deletion of tenant (if needed)
If you need immediate environment deletion (e.g., for a free trial or compliance), submit a support ticket at support.dynatrace.com or email one.support@dynatrace.com requesting manual tenant deletion. Trial tenants expire automatically after approximately 3 months of inactivity if no action is taken.
