Log in to GX Cloud
Go to app.greatexpectations.io and sign in to your GX Cloud account with your credentials.
Check account settings
Click on your profile avatar or account name in the top-right corner of the GX Cloud dashboard and look for 'Settings' or 'Organization Settings' to review your current plan and billing details.
Note your plan type
Identify whether you are on a Team or Enterprise plan. If you are on the free Developer plan, no cancellation is needed. Paid Team and Enterprise plans require contacting support to cancel — there is no self-service cancellation button.
Email support to request cancellation
Send a cancellation request to support@greatexpectations.io from the email address associated with your account. Include your organization name, account email, and state clearly that you want to cancel your paid subscription.
For Enterprise plans — contact your account manager
If you are on an Enterprise plan, email sales@greatexpectations.io or contact your dedicated account manager directly to initiate the cancellation process, as Enterprise contracts may have specific terms.
Confirm cancellation and downgrade
Wait for a confirmation email from the Great Expectations support team confirming your subscription has been cancelled. Your account will typically be downgraded to the free Developer tier rather than deleted.
