Export your candidate data
Before cancelling, log into your Pinpoint account and use the custom report builder to export all candidate data as CSV files. Do this well in advance — production data is deleted within 15 days of contract end and backups within 45 days.
Contact your Customer Success Manager
Every Pinpoint customer is assigned a dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM). Reach out to them directly via email or the in-platform live chat to notify them of your intent to cancel / not renew.
Alternatively, contact support or billing
If you do not have your CSM's contact, reach Pinpoint via live chat inside the platform, by phone (UK: +44 (0) 203 318 9441 / US: +1 888-349-1444), or by email at accounts@pinpointhq.com. State clearly that you wish to cancel and not renew your contract.
Confirm non-renewal before contract end date
Pinpoint uses annual contracts billed upfront. Cancellation means non-renewal at the end of your current contract term. Confirm the exact contract end date with your CSM and ensure your cancellation notice is submitted before any notice period required by your agreement.
Request data return or confirm deletion in writing
Within 30 days of your contract end date, send a written request if you want your data returned rather than deleted. If you take no action, Pinpoint will delete all data from production systems within 15 days and from backups within 45 days of termination.
