Is Redash Cloud still available?

No. Redash Cloud (app.redash.io) was permanently shut down on November 30, 2021. Databricks acquired Redash and discontinued the hosted service to focus on Databricks SQL. No new sign-ups were accepted from July 2021 onward.

Will I be charged for Redash Cloud?

No. Billing was stopped for all customers when the end-of-life announcement was made in July 2021. If you see any charges after that date, contact Databricks support or dispute the charge with your bank.

What happened to my Redash Cloud data?

All customer data hosted at app.redash.io was deleted within 30 days after access ended on November 30, 2021 (i.e., by approximately December 30, 2021). Data is no longer recoverable from the hosted service.

Can I reactivate a Redash Cloud subscription?

No. The hosted service is permanently discontinued and cannot be reactivated. Your options are to self-host the open-source Redash (github.com/getredash/redash) or use an alternative BI tool such as Metabase, Superset, or Databricks SQL.

Is there a refund available for unused Redash Cloud time?

At the time of the EOL announcement (July 2021), Redash stopped billing all customers immediately, so paid users received free access through the remaining service period until November 30, 2021. Refunds for earlier periods would need to be requested via Databricks support.

What is the alternative to Redash Cloud?

Databricks recommends Databricks SQL for teams on Databricks. For a self-hosted open-source alternative, the Redash codebase is still available at github.com/getredash/redash. Other popular alternatives include Apache Superset, Metabase, and Grafana.
