Determine your plan type
Identify whether you are on BDP Cloud (self-serve, billed via Stripe) or BDP Enterprise (annual contract). BDP Cloud customers cancel through Stripe; BDP Enterprise customers must contact Snowplow directly. Community Edition (open source) has no subscription to cancel.
Log in to Snowplow Console
Go to console.snowplowanalytics.com and sign in to your account. Navigate to your account or billing settings to locate the link to your Stripe billing portal.
Access the Stripe billing portal
Click the billing or subscription management link in your Snowplow Console account settings. This opens the Stripe customer portal — Snowplow does not have an in-product cancel button; all billing management is handled via Stripe.
Cancel subscription in Stripe
In the Stripe billing portal, locate your active Snowplow subscription and click 'Cancel plan'. Confirm the cancellation when prompted. Ensure you do this before your next billing date — for advance/subscription billing, cancel before the billing day; for per-event/arrears billing, cancel on or before the start of the next billing period.
Confirm cancellation and note end date
Stripe will confirm the cancellation and show the date through which your subscription remains active. Save this confirmation. Your access continues until the end of the paid billing period; no refunds are issued for partial periods.
For BDP Enterprise: contact Snowplow directly
If you are on an annual BDP Enterprise or AWS Marketplace contract, contact your account manager or email support@snowplow.io. All fees under Enterprise contracts are non-cancellable and non-refundable mid-contract per AWS Marketplace terms. Discuss non-renewal before your contract end date.
