Can I still use Splice after I cancel?

Yes. Your subscription stays fully active until the end of your current billing period. After that, you can no longer download new sounds or use credits, but all sounds you previously downloaded remain permanently licensed to you and can be re-downloaded from the Splice desktop app at any time.

What happens to my unused credits when I cancel?

Your credits remain usable through the end of your current billing period. After the billing period ends, unused credits expire 28 days later. If you resubscribe within those 28 days, your unused credits are restored. Splice does not refund the monetary value of unused credits.

Will I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Splice does not issue refunds on subscription fees already paid or on unused credits. Rent-to-Own payments are also non-refundable.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time by logging in and visiting your Plans page. If you resubscribe within 28 days of your final billing period ending, any unused credits from before are restored.

How do I cancel if I subscribed through the iOS App Store or Google Play?

If you subscribed via Apple, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Splice → 'Cancel Subscription'. If via Google Play, open the Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Splice → Cancel subscription.

How do I delete my Splice account entirely?

Go to https://splice.com/profile/settings, scroll to the bottom, and click the red 'Delete Account' button. You will need to type your username to confirm. This permanently deletes your likes, collections, library index, and profile. Splice recommends downloading all your sounds locally before deleting.

Go to your Plans page

Log in to Splice and navigate to https://splice.com/profile/plans, or click your account avatar in the top-right corner and select 'Settings', then open the 'Billing' tab and click 'Edit Subscription'.

Click 'cancel' next to your plan

On the Plans page, find your active subscription and click the 'cancel' link next to it.

Select a cancellation reason

Choose a reason for cancelling from the dropdown or list of options presented.

Decline the pause offer

Splice shows a retention screen offering to pause your subscription for 1 or 2 months. If you want to fully cancel, scroll past this offer to reach the final cancel button.

Click 'Cancel subscription'
