Log in as Company Admin

Go to app.navan.com and sign in with your Company Admin credentials. Only admins can cancel the company account — individual employees cannot initiate cancellation.

Open in-app chat or contact support

Click the help icon or chat bubble in the bottom corner of the app. Type 'cancel subscription' or 'close account' to initiate the cancellation request through the support chat. Self-serve cancellation is not available in the UI.

Cancel any upcoming bookings first

Navigate to My Trips and cancel all pending or upcoming travel bookings before closing the account. Open bookings are NOT automatically cancelled when the account closes — you must handle these manually to avoid abandoned reservations.

Request account closure via email if chat fails

If the chatbot deflects your request, email ar@navan.com (billing) with your company name, account ID, and a written request to terminate the subscription. Enterprise customers must also notify their dedicated Account Executive. Include a specific termination date.

Check your contract for notice period

Enterprise customers must review their Service Order for notice period requirements — typically 30–90 days before the renewal date. Missing this window may lock you into another contract term. Business (free) tier users have no notice period requirement.

Request data deletion separately

Account cancellation does not automatically delete your company data. To request data erasure, email dpo@navan.com separately and invoke your right to erasure. State which data you want deleted and your legal basis (e.g. GDPR Article 17 for EU users).

Confirm cancellation in writing

Follow up until you receive written confirmation of account closure. Multiple users report submitting 4+ requests with no response and continued charges. Keep records of all communications with timestamps in case you need to dispute charges.
