Can I get a refund after cancelling Fyle?

No. Subscription charges are non-refundable per Fyle's Terms of Service (Clause 7.8). The only exception is if Fyle itself is in material breach of the agreement, in which case a pro-rata refund for the remaining subscription term is issued.

Can I access my data after cancelling?

Yes, but only for 30 days after termination. You can export your data in CSV, PNG, PDF, or JPG formats during that window. After 30 days, all customer data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Can I reactivate my Fyle account after deleting it?

No. Deletion is explicitly stated as irreversible. Once the organization is deleted, it cannot be restored and you would need to create a new account from scratch.

What is the difference between resetting and deleting my Fyle account?

Resetting removes all expense data (expenses, reports, payments, advances) but keeps your org configuration (policies, projects, categories, employee settings). Deleting permanently removes everything. Both actions are irreversible.

What if I am not the account Owner — can I still cancel?

No. Only the account Owner has permission to delete the organization. Regular admins cannot initiate cancellation. Contact your account Owner to proceed.

Do I need to give notice before cancelling Fyle?

Yes. Fyle's Terms and Conditions (Clause 15.2) require 30 days written notice before termination. This notice is separate from the in-app deletion action.

Log in as Owner

Sign in to your Fyle account at app.fylehq.com. Only the account Owner can cancel — standard admins do not have this permission.

Open Admin Settings

Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard to open Admin Settings.

Navigate to Account > General

In the left sidebar, go to Account and then select General.

Find the Delete Organization section

Scroll down the General settings page to locate the 'Delete Organization' tab or section.

Click Delete and confirm

Click the 'Delete' button and type the required confirmation keywords in the dialog box to permanently delete the organization and cancel the subscription.

Email support if account is over 12 months old

If your account is older than 12 months, the self-service delete button is disabled. Email support@fyle.in requesting account deletion — support staff will complete it on your behalf.
