Find your contract renewal date
Log in at https://app.podium.com and navigate to Account Settings to locate your subscription/contract details, or check your original Order Form email for the exact renewal date. If you cannot find it, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) directly.
Send written non-renewal notice via email
Email support@podium.com at least 30 days before your contract renewal date. In the email, state your account name and explicitly write that you are providing written notice of non-renewal. Keep a timestamped copy of the sent email for your records.
Follow up with your Customer Success Manager
Expect Podium to route your cancellation through your assigned CSM, who will likely reach out to schedule a 'save' call. You are not required to accept any retention offer — confirm clearly that you want your non-renewal request processed.
Export all your data before term ends
Before your contract end date, export all contacts, message history, review data, and payment records from the app. Go to app.podium.com and download everything you need. Podium may delete your data at any time after termination with no stated grace period.
Port your phone number if applicable
If Podium hosts your business phone number, initiate a number port-out to another carrier before your contract ends. User reports indicate Podium may make it difficult or costly to retrieve your number after termination.
Obtain written cancellation confirmation
Request written email confirmation from Podium that your non-renewal has been logged and no further charges will apply after your current term ends. Do not consider cancellation complete until you have this confirmation in writing.
