Can I get a refund if I was auto-renewed unexpectedly?

What if I can't find the cancellation option in my account?

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. In Bitdefender Central, once auto-renewal is off, a 'Reactivate Subscription' button appears in the subscription view. Clicking it re-enables auto-renewal. Your license key remains valid through the end of your paid term regardless of whether you reactivate.

Do I need to cancel Bitdefender VPN or add-ons separately?

Yes. Bitdefender VPN Premium, Password Manager, and Identity Theft Protection are separate subscriptions and must each be canceled individually via the same My Subscriptions → My Payments flow. VPN Premium also has a more restrictive refund policy than the main product.

Sign in to Bitdefender Central

Go to https://central.bitdefender.com/ and sign in with your Bitdefender account credentials.

Open My Subscriptions

Click 'My Subscriptions' in the left sidebar navigation.

Go to the My Payments tab

At the top of the Subscriptions page, click the 'My Payments' tab to see your active payment plans.

View subscription details

Find the product you want to cancel and click 'View details' next to it.

Open renewal management

Click 'Manage your subscription renewal options' — this opens a new panel or tab with renewal controls.

Click End Auto-Renewal

Click the 'End Auto-Renewal' button. You will be asked to select a cancellation reason from a dropdown menu.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm twice when prompted. A verification code may be sent to the email used at purchase (which may differ from your login email — check both inboxes). Enter the code to complete cancellation. A confirmation email will be sent when done.
