Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, so you keep full dashboard access until that date. After the period ends, your data is queued for deletion over up to 60 days.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Fathom does not offer refunds, except where required by law (e.g., EU consumer law). No prorated refunds are given for cancelling mid-cycle. To get the most out of your paid period, cancel the day before your next billing date.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes. If you resubscribe within 60 days of cancellation, all your sites and analytics data are automatically restored. After 60 days the data is permanently deleted, but you can contact support@usefathom.com to request a new trial.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

After your billing period ends, your data is queued for deletion and fully removed within up to 60 days. If you want permanent and immediate deletion instead, go to Settings → Account and click 'Delete your account' — this is instant and irreversible.

Who can cancel the Fathom Analytics subscription?

Only the Account Owner can cancel. Team members added to the account do not have access to the Billing settings and cannot initiate a cancellation.

Log into your Fathom account

Go to app.usefathom.com and sign in. Note: only the Account Owner can cancel — team members do not have this option.

Open Settings

Click the gear/cog icon to open the Settings menu.

Navigate to Billing

Click 'Billing' in the Settings menu to open your subscription and payment details.

Click Cancel in the Subscription section

In the 'Subscription' section, click the 'Cancel' button. A confirmation module will appear with multiple steps to complete.

Complete the cancellation module

Work through the confirmation steps until the red 'Cancel subscription' button becomes available, then click it to confirm.

Verify cancellation confirmation

Your subscription will now be set to cancel at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until then. An 'I changed my mind' button appears on the Billing page if you want to reverse the cancellation before the period ends.
