Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Yes. Flipt issues a prorated refund for the remaining unused portion of your billing period immediately upon cancellation.

What happens to my feature flags and data after cancelling?

Nothing — all your data lives in your own self-hosted Git repositories and database. Cancelling only deactivates the Pro license key; your Flipt instance continues running normally with open-source features.

What happens to my Pro license key after cancellation?

The license key is deactivated immediately. Monthly licenses validate over the internet, so deactivation takes effect on the next validation check. Annual licenses support offline validation, so timing may vary in air-gapped environments.

Can I reactivate my Flipt Pro subscription later?

Yes. You can resubscribe at any time via https://flipt.io or by contacting support@flipt.io. Your self-hosted data is untouched so you can pick up where you left off.

Do I need to do anything if I'm still on the free trial?

If you signed up for the 14-day free trial and never added a payment method, the trial simply expires automatically — no cancellation steps needed. If you added a payment method and converted to a paid plan, use the Stripe portal at https://getflipt.co/billing to cancel.

Go to the billing portal

Navigate to https://getflipt.co/billing in your browser. This is Flipt's billing management URL and will redirect you to their Stripe Customer Portal.

Authenticate with your email

Enter the email address you used when subscribing to Flipt Pro. Stripe will send you a one-time login link to that address — check your inbox and click it to log in.

Locate your Flipt Pro subscription

Once inside the Stripe Customer Portal, find your active Flipt Pro subscription listed under your subscriptions.

Click 'Cancel plan'

Click the 'Cancel plan' button next to your Flipt Pro subscription. This is Stripe's standard cancellation button.

Confirm the cancellation

A confirmation prompt will appear. Click 'Cancel plan' again to confirm. Your Pro license key will be deactivated immediately and a prorated refund for any unused time will be issued to your original payment method.
