Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. After cancellation your account remains active and fully entitled until the end of your current billing period (renewal date). Access is not cut off immediately.

What happens to my account after the billing period ends?

Your account is automatically downgraded to a Free subscription with limited functionality. Your content and settings may be retained but features will be restricted to the free tier limits.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. JW Player's policy states all fees are non-refundable. You will not receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your current subscription period. The only exception is a pro-rata refund if JWX fails to provide contracted support services.

How do I cancel an Enterprise plan?

Enterprise edition customers cannot cancel through the self-service dashboard. You must contact your dedicated JWX account representative directly to initiate cancellation of an enterprise contract.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can reactivate or upgrade from the Free plan at any time by returning to the Billing page in your dashboard and selecting a new plan.

Open Account Billing

From the dashboard navigation, click on your account name or settings icon, then select 'Billing' to open the Billing and Payments page.

Locate Current Plan

On the Billing page, find the 'Current plan' section which displays your active subscription tier and renewal details.

Click Cancel Subscription

Under 'Current plan', click the 'Cancel subscription' link or button.

Confirm Cancellation in Popup

A confirmation popup window appears. Click 'CONFIRM CANCELLATION' to finalize the cancellation.
