Will I lose access to Fin AI immediately after cancelling?

No. After cancelling, you retain full access to Intercom and Fin AI until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged in the next period.

Are refunds available if I cancel an annual plan early?

No. Intercom does not offer prorated refunds on annual subscriptions. Annual plans are paid upfront at a discount and cannot be refunded if cancelled before the renewal date.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Cancellation does not delete your data. However, once your subscription becomes inactive, you can no longer access your data until you resubscribe. Live content such as Workflows, Proactive Support messages, and your Help Center will be automatically paused.

Can I reactivate my subscription and recover my data?

Yes. If you resubscribe at any time, all previously stored data is fully restored. There is no data deletion on cancellation.

Can I just turn off Fin AI without cancelling my whole Intercom subscription?

Yes. To stop Fin AI charges without cancelling Intercom entirely, remove Fin from any live Workflows or pause Fin in the Simple deploy section where it was set live. This stops Fin from replying to customers and generating resolution charges.

What if I'm on an Intercom contract?

Self-service cancellation is only available for monthly and bundle plans. If you are on an annual contract, you must contact your Intercom Account Manager to discuss cancellation or pausing options.

Log in to your Intercom workspace

Go to app.intercom.com and sign in to the workspace where your Fin AI subscription is active.

Open Settings

Click the 'Settings' gear icon in the left-hand navigation sidebar.

Navigate to Subscription & Billing

In Settings, go to 'Subscription' then select 'Billing' from the submenu.

Open Payment Details

Click 'Payment details' at the top of the Billing page.

Click 'Cancel subscription'

Scroll down to the bottom of the Payment details section and click the 'Cancel subscription' button.

Confirm cancellation

Follow any on-screen confirmation prompts to complete the cancellation. You may be asked to provide a reason for cancelling.
