Will I get a refund if I cancel before my billing period ends?

No. Labelbox does not issue prorated refunds. You retain access to your paid plan features until the start of the next billing cycle, but no partial refunds are issued for the current period. The only exception is inadvertent charges following a free trial — contact support@labelbox.com in that case.

When does the cancellation take effect?

Cancellation takes effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle (typically the 1st of the following month). A reminder banner appears on the Billing tab while a downgrade is pending.

What happens to my data after I cancel?

Data stored in your own cloud bucket (AWS S3, GCS via IAM Delegated Access) is unaffected. However, annotations, labels, projects, and metadata stored within Labelbox may be permanently destroyed upon account termination. You should export all important data before cancelling.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade your plan again at any time through the Billing tab in Workplace Settings. Visit labelbox.com/pricing for current plan options.

How do I cancel an Enterprise plan?

Enterprise plans cannot be cancelled through the self-serve dashboard. You must contact Labelbox Sales directly at labelbox.com/sales to cancel or downgrade an Enterprise subscription.

How do I request deletion of my personal data?

To request deletion of personal data associated with your account, email support@labelbox.com after cancelling your subscription.

Log in to Labelbox

Go to app.labelbox.com and log in to your account.

Export your data

Before cancelling, export any annotations, labels, or project data you want to keep. Use the Export feature from Catalog, a project, or a model run. Data stored inside Labelbox may be destroyed upon account termination.

Open Workplace Settings

Click the organization/workspace name in the top-left corner of the dashboard and select 'Workplace Settings' from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to the Billing tab

In Workplace Settings, click the 'Billing' tab in the left-hand navigation.

Click 'Cancel plan'

Scroll past the plan listing and click the 'Cancel plan' button at the bottom of the page.

Confirm in 'Manage your Labelbox plan' view

A confirmation screen titled 'Manage your Labelbox plan' will appear. Click 'Cancel plan' again.

Complete final confirmation

A final confirmation dialog appears. Click 'Cancel plan' one last time to complete the cancellation. The plan will remain active until the start of the next billing cycle.
