Review your subscription term end date
Log in to your WorkOS Dashboard and check your billing settings to find your current subscription term end date. You must submit cancellation notice at least 30 days before this date or your subscription will auto-renew.
Export your data before cancelling
Before sending any cancellation notice, export all data you need from your WorkOS Dashboard. After termination, WorkOS may irrevocably delete all account data. You have a 30-day window post-termination to request export assistance, but it is safest to do this beforehand.
Send written cancellation notice to support@workos.com
Compose an email to support@workos.com (or hello@workos.com) stating your intent to cancel at the end of your current subscription term. Include your account/organization name and the effective date. Alternatively, send written notice by post to: 548 Market St, PMB 86125, San Francisco, CA 94104. Scale/Enterprise customers can also notify WorkOS via their shared Slack channel.
Receive confirmation from WorkOS
Wait for a written confirmation from the WorkOS support team acknowledging your cancellation request. Keep this email as proof that you submitted notice within the required 30-day window.
Access ends at term expiry
Your WorkOS subscription and API access remain active until the end of the current subscription term. There is no mid-term cancellation or proration — you retain full access through the paid period.
