Do I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account is downgraded to the free plan (1,000 tasks/month) rather than deleted.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

Yes, partially. If you are on an annual plan and cancel mid-term, Activepieces will refund the prorated unused portion of prepaid fees per their Terms of Service. Monthly subscribers are not charged again after cancellation but do not receive a refund for the current month.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. Your account is not deleted when you cancel — you are simply moved to the free tier. You can upgrade to a paid plan again at any time from the Billing section in Settings.

Will my automations and data be deleted after cancellation?

Your flows and data are retained on the free plan, though you will be subject to free plan limits (1,000 tasks/month). For explicit data deletion, contact support@activepieces.com.

What if I cannot find the cancel option in the dashboard?

Email support@activepieces.com directly with a cancellation request. The support team (staffed by engineers on rotation) handles billing requests and typically responds quickly.

Can I avoid a subscription entirely by self-hosting?

Yes. Activepieces is open-source and self-hosting is completely free with unlimited tasks. This is a genuine alternative if you have the technical ability to host it yourself.

Log in to Activepieces Cloud

Go to https://cloud.activepieces.com and sign in to your account.

Open Settings

Click on your account avatar or profile menu in the left sidebar or top navigation, then select 'Settings'.

Navigate to Billing

Inside Settings, click on the 'Billing' or 'Subscription' section to view your current plan details.

Click Cancel Subscription

Locate and click the 'Cancel Subscription' button. This may redirect you to a Stripe Customer Portal since Activepieces uses Stripe for payment processing.

Confirm Cancellation

Follow the on-screen confirmation prompts and confirm the cancellation. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
