Will my data be deleted when I cancel?

No — cancelling downgrades your account to the Free Forever plan, which preserves all your data. Only if you choose 'Delete Account' (a separate option) is your data permanently removed.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Refunds are not issued. Monthly subscribers retain access until the end of the billing period. Annual plan subscribers do not receive partial refunds for unused months. No cancellation fees apply.

What happens to my projects and team members after cancellation?

On the Free Forever plan you are limited to 5 active projects (the rest are auto-archived) and 5 standard users (excess users are automatically converted to collaborators with limited access).

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Reactivation is possible if you cancelled to Free Forever — simply upgrade again from within your account. If you deleted your account entirely, the action is irreversible; contact sales@teamwork.com to discuss options.

Does cancelling Teamwork also cancel Teamwork Desk, Chat, or Spaces?

No. Each Teamwork product (Desk, Chat, Spaces, CRM) has its own separate cancellation flow. Cancelling your Teamwork Projects subscription does not affect the others.

I pay via PayPal — is there anything extra I need to do?

Yes. Cancelling inside Teamwork.com does NOT stop PayPal from billing you. You must also cancel the billing agreement separately inside your PayPal account to fully stop charges.

Open Subscription settings

Click your profile image in the top navigation bar, then select 'Subscription' from the dropdown menu.

Locate the Cancel section

On the Subscription page, scroll down to find the 'Cancel Subscription' section.

Click 'Cancel my subscription'

Click the 'Cancel my subscription' button to begin the cancellation flow.

Complete the off-boarding survey

Select your reason for leaving from the off-boarding survey (required step before proceeding).

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Cancel Plan' to finalize. Your paid subscription stays active until the end of the current billing cycle, then automatically downgrades to the Free Forever plan (data preserved).
