Can I still access my data after cancelling?

Yes. All your local data remains accessible. Encrypted backups on Anytype's servers are retained for 30 days after your membership lapses before being deleted. You can export shared spaces before they go offline.

What happens to my shared spaces when I cancel?

When your membership lapses, all participants (including you) will see a popup offering two options: Delete or Export the shared space. Exported spaces can be re-imported locally but will no longer sync new changes via the backup node.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

Refunds are available within 30 days of the initial purchase. Email care@anytype.io with your transaction details and reason. Note that because the ANY ID (username) registration is considered immediately consumed, only approximately 75% of the payment may be refunded. Crypto payments are non-refundable.

What happens to my ANY ID (username) after cancellation?

Your ANY ID is reserved for 1 to 3 years after the initial purchase depending on your plan tier, then it is released back into the pool for others to claim.

Can I downgrade to Free instead of cancelling?

Yes. Anytype has a Free tier with 100 MB storage. You can manage your plan directly in Vault Settings → Membership without fully cancelling.

What happens if I'm on iOS or Android?

If you subscribed via iOS, cancel through iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Anytype → Cancel Subscription. If via Android, cancel through Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Anytype → Cancel subscription.

Launch the Anytype desktop or web app and log into your account.

Go to Vault Settings

Click your profile or space icon to open settings, then navigate to 'Vault Settings' (also called Account Settings).

Open Membership section

In the settings panel, click on the 'Membership' section to view your current plan details.

Click 'Manage Subscription'

Click the 'Manage Subscription' button. This redirects you to Stripe's hosted billing portal in your browser.

Cancel in Stripe portal

In the Stripe billing portal, click 'Cancel Subscription'.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm your cancellation when prompted. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
