Do I still have access to Flagsmith after cancelling or downgrading?

Yes, if you downgrade to the Free plan, your access continues under Free plan limits (50,000 API requests/month, 1 team member). If you fully terminate the subscription, access ceases immediately per Flagsmith's Terms of Service.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

No. Flagsmith's Terms of Service (Section 6.2) state that all fees are non-refundable. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period but will not receive a prorated refund.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

If you downgrade to Free, your data remains but you are subject to Free plan limits. If you fully terminate your account, Flagsmith states it has no obligation to maintain any Customer Data or Customer Output after the subscription ends — you should export your data before terminating.

Can I reactivate my paid plan after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade back to a paid plan at any time from the Organisation Billing settings in your dashboard. Your data on the Free plan will still be accessible.

Log in to Flagsmith dashboard

Go to app.flagsmith.com and sign in with your account credentials.

Open Organisation settings

Click on your Organisation name in the top-left corner of the dashboard, then select your organisation from the dropdown to open the organisation management panel.

Navigate to the Billing tab

Inside the Organisation settings, click on the 'Billing' tab (or 'Manage' depending on your plan) to access your current subscription details and plan options.

Select the Free Plan

On the Billing page, locate the plan selector. Click 'Downgrade to Free Plan' (or select the Free tier). This is the primary self-service cancellation path — Flagsmith does not have a separate 'Cancel Subscription' button; downgrading to Free effectively ends your paid subscription.

Access Manage Invoices if prompted

If redirected to the billing portal, click 'Manage Invoices', enter your billing email address, and enter the one-time passcode sent to that email to authenticate into the Stripe billing portal.

Confirm the downgrade

Review the confirmation screen showing what features you will lose (team member limits, API request limits, etc.) and confirm the plan change. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Contact support for full account deletion (optional)

If you want to fully terminate your account and delete all data rather than staying on the Free plan, email support@flagsmith.com or use the in-app support chat widget. Request account termination and data deletion explicitly.
