Do I need to cancel core OSSEC or OSSEC+?

No. Core OSSEC is free open-source software with no subscription. OSSEC+ is also free and only requires a registration — there is nothing to cancel.

Can I still use the software after cancellation?

For monthly/annual subscriptions, access to daily rule updates and commercial features stops when the subscription ends. You can continue using the base open-source OSSEC at no cost.

Am I entitled to a refund?

Atomicorp offers a 30-day refund window for unused software licenses. Enterprise contracts that are terminated mid-term may receive a prorated refund for unused prepaid fees covering the remaining contract period.

How much notice is required for enterprise contracts?

Enterprise Atomic OSSEC contracts require at least 60 days' written notice before the annual renewal date to prevent auto-renewal for another full year.

Is there a free trial before committing?

Yes. A 14-day free SaaS trial is available (up to 10 endpoints, no credit card required). A 30-day trial is also available via the Azure Marketplace.

How do I get my data after cancellation?

Data retention and export policies are not publicly documented. Contact Atomicorp directly at info@atomicorp.com before cancelling to request data export or clarify what happens to your data upon termination.

Identify your subscription type

Determine which Atomicorp product you have: monthly subscriptions (Atomic ModSecurity Rules, Atomic Protector, Atomic WAF) are managed via the aMember portal; enterprise Atomic OSSEC contracts require written notice to Atomicorp directly. Core OSSEC and OSSEC+ are free and require no cancellation.

Log in to the aMember member portal

Go to https://atomicorp.com/amember/member/ and sign in with your Atomicorp account credentials (email and password used at purchase).

Navigate to your active subscription

Once logged in, find the 'Subscriptions' or 'Recurring Payments' section of your member dashboard. Locate the active subscription you wish to cancel.

Click 'Stop Recurring' or cancel link

Click the 'Stop Recurring' link or cancellation button next to your active subscription. Confirm when prompted to stop future billing.

Cancel via payment processor if needed

If no in-portal cancel option is visible, cancel the recurring payment directly through your payment provider (e.g., PayPal: Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments → Cancel).

For enterprise Atomic OSSEC contracts: send written notice

Email info@atomicorp.com with written notice of non-renewal or termination. Enterprise contracts require 60 days' prior written notice before the annual renewal date. Reference your contract number and state your intent to cancel.
