Will I lose access to my workspace immediately after cancelling?

No. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. Cancellation only stops the next renewal.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Your data is not deleted when you cancel. The workspace reverts to the Free plan. If you have more than 12 members, the workspace enters a locked state where only the Members page is accessible until you remove members below the 12-seat limit.

Can I get a refund when I cancel?

Plane's live documentation states refunds are only offered in exceptional circumstances. Their Terms of Service (§7.3) describe a partial refund policy (50% within 15 days of a monthly charge, or within 6 months of an annual charge), but in practice you should contact support@plane.so to request one.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. Return to Workspace Settings > Billing and plans and click 'Manage Subscription' to resubscribe through the Stripe portal at any time.

What happens if I just remove team members — does that reduce my bill?

No. Removing members from the workspace does not automatically adjust your seat count or billing. You must manually reduce seats in the Stripe Customer Portal to stop being charged for them.

What happens if my payment fails instead of me cancelling?

Stripe retries payment 3–5 times over 14 days. If all attempts fail, your Cloud workspace is automatically cancelled after 14 days.

Open Workspace Settings

Go to Billing and Plans

In the left sidebar of Workspace Settings, click the 'Billing and plans' tab.

Open Manage Subscription

Click the 'Manage Subscription' button. This opens the Stripe Customer Portal in a new tab.

Cancel Subscription in Stripe Portal

In the Stripe Customer Portal, click 'Cancel subscription'.

Confirm Cancellation

Confirm the cancellation when prompted. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
