When do I need to cancel to avoid being charged for another year?

You must send written notice at least 60 days before your renewal date. Planhat contracts auto-renew for the same period as the initial term (typically annual). Missing the 60-day window means you are contractually obligated to pay for the full next period.

Can I cancel Planhat mid-contract?

Generally no. The Terms of Service state neither party may terminate during the Subscription Period except for cause — such as a material breach by Planhat, insolvency, or non-payment more than 15 days overdue. Standard mid-contract cancellation does not entitle you to a refund.

Will I get a refund if I cancel?

Only in specific circumstances: if Planhat terminates the agreement (not due to your breach), or if you terminate for Planhat's material breach, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the remaining period. Standard end-of-term cancellation by the customer carries no refund.

Can I still access my data after cancellation?

You must export your data before the contract end date. Per Planhat's Terms of Service (Section 3.5), customer data is deleted at or shortly after termination with no stated grace period for post-termination access. Use the spreadsheet export or API to retrieve your data in advance.

How do I reactivate a cancelled Planhat account?

Check your contract renewal date

Log into your Planhat account and review your contract terms to find your renewal date. Planhat contracts auto-renew unless you give at least 60 days written notice before the renewal date. Missing this window locks you into another full term.

Contact your Customer Success Manager

Reach out to your assigned Planhat Customer Success Manager (CSM) directly via email to initiate cancellation. This is the primary cancellation channel — there is no self-service cancel button in the product.

Include your account name, contract reference, and the intent not to renew.
