Can I cancel my Plasmic subscription directly in the app?

No. As of early 2026, Plasmic's Studio UI only allows upgrading to higher plans — there is no self-service downgrade or cancel button. You must contact support at team@plasmic.app to cancel or downgrade.

Will I get a refund if I cancel a prepaid subscription?

Yes. Per Plasmic's Terms of Service, if you cancel and the termination is not due to a breach of the agreement, Plasmic will refund any prepaid fees covering the period of your subscription that extends beyond the effective cancellation date.

What happens to my projects and data after I cancel?

Downgrading to the Free tier keeps your projects accessible under Free plan limits (limited page views, collaborators, and features). If you delete your account entirely, you immediately lose access to all data including projects, CMS databases, workspaces, and organizations; data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Can I reactivate my paid plan after canceling?

Yes. You can re-subscribe at any time by clicking the 'Upgrade' button in Plasmic Studio and selecting a paid plan. Your projects remain accessible on the Free tier in the meantime.

How do I change my billing information or payment method?

Plasmic does not currently offer a direct payment method update flow in the UI. The recommended workaround (per the community forum) is to cancel your current subscription by emailing team@plasmic.app and then resubscribe with the new card. Your projects and work are preserved through this process.

Is there a free trial before committing to a paid plan?

Log in to Plasmic Studio

Go to studio.plasmic.app and sign in to your account.

Access Organization Settings

In the left panel, click on your organization name, then click the gear icon to open Organization Settings.

Check for a Billing or Plan section

Look for a 'Billing' or 'Plan' tab within Organization Settings. Note: As of early 2026, Plasmic's UI only allows upgrading — there is no self-service downgrade or cancel button available in the interface.

Email Plasmic support to cancel

Since no self-service cancellation option exists in the UI, send an email to team@plasmic.app requesting cancellation or downgrade to the Free tier. Include your account email address and/or organization name so support can locate your account.

Await confirmation

Plasmic support will manually process the downgrade or cancellation. Based on community reports, responses typically arrive within 1 business day and a confirmation is sent once the plan change is applied.

Optionally delete your account

If you want to fully delete your account (not just cancel the paid plan), go to your profile settings page, open the three-dot (⋯) menu on the right, and click 'Delete account.' You must first delete or transfer all organizations you own (except your personal organization).
