Do I lose access immediately when I cancel?

No. You retain full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. Free trial users are an exception — canceling during a trial ends access immediately.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

No. Crazy Egg's policy states all fees are non-refundable. There are no credits or partial refunds for unused months, plan changes, or mid-cycle cancellations.

How do I reactivate my account after canceling?

Log back into your Crazy Egg account and sign up for a new plan. Your dashboards and reports remain locked until you reactivate. If you separately deleted your account, reactivation is not possible.

Will my data be deleted when I cancel?

Canceling does not automatically delete your data. To permanently delete, go to My Account → Manage Account, scroll to the bottom, click 'Delete the account', type 'DELETE' (case-sensitive) in the confirmation popup, and click the red 'Delete Crazy Egg account' button. User Recordings cannot be exported; Snapshots can be exported before deletion.

Can I cancel by email or phone?

No. Crazy Egg's Terms of Use state the only valid cancellation method is through the account dashboard. Cancellation requests by email or phone are not accepted.

What happens to my tracking script after canceling?

Data collection stops after cancellation. Crazy Egg's Terms of Use require you to remove their tracking script from your website after the account is canceled or terminated.

Log in to Crazy Egg

Go to https://www.crazyegg.com and sign in to your account using your email and password.

Open 'My Account' menu

In the left-hand blue sidebar, scroll to the bottom and click 'My Account' to expand the sub-menu.

Click 'Manage Account'

From the expanded 'My Account' sub-menu, click 'Manage Account' to open your account management page.

Find the 'Your Plan' section

On the Manage Account page, scroll down to the 'Your Plan' section showing your current active subscription.

Click 'Cancel Subscription'

Click the red 'Cancel Subscription' link in the 'Your Plan' section to initiate the cancellation flow.

Select a cancellation reason

Choose a reason for leaving from the prompt (e.g. 'Too expensive', 'Not using it', 'Missing features') and click 'Continue'.

Confirm cancellation

Complete the final confirmation step. You will retain full access until the end of your current billing cycle, after which your account reverts to an inactive state.
