Will I get a refund after cancelling?

Odoo does not issue automatic refunds. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. For app purchases, refund requests may be considered within the first 2 months — contact https://www.odoo.com/help to request a review.

Can I access my data after cancellation?

Your data remains on Odoo's servers for a limited time (a few weeks) after the database is deleted. Download a backup before cancelling. If access has already lapsed, open a support ticket at https://www.odoo.com/help to request a backup export.

Does cancelling delete my Odoo.com account?

No. Deleting the database closes that subscription but leaves your Odoo.com account (forum, apps store, partner portal) intact.

Can I reactivate my Odoo Accounting subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can create a new Odoo Online database and re-subscribe at any time. Restoring previous data requires importing from the backup you downloaded before cancellation.

Do I need to give notice before the renewal date?

For Odoo Online SaaS plans, deleting the database stops the subscription immediately. For Odoo Enterprise on-premise licenses, the subscription agreement requires written termination notice at least 30 days before the end of the subscription term to prevent auto-renewal.

Can I downgrade instead of cancelling?

Yes. Odoo offers a free 'One App Free' plan (one app, unlimited users). Contact Odoo support via https://www.odoo.com/help or your account manager to request a downgrade instead of full cancellation.

Log in to Odoo.com

Go to https://www.odoo.com and sign in with your registered account credentials.

Open My Databases

Click your profile/user icon in the top-right corner of the page and select 'My Databases' from the dropdown menu.

Download a backup

Before cancelling, click the action menu (three dots or gear icon) next to your Accounting database and select 'Download' to save a full backup of your data.

Delete the database

In the same action menu next to your database, click 'Delete'. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Deleting the database cancels the associated subscription — there is no separate 'Cancel Subscription' button.

Contact support if Delete is unavailable

If the 'Delete' button is not visible for your account type, go to https://www.odoo.com/help and open a support ticket requesting database deletion and subscription cancellation. Live chat is available Monday–Friday.

Verify cancellation

After deletion, your subscription is closed and you will not be charged for the next billing cycle. Your Odoo.com account remains active; only the specific database is removed.
