Will my music be removed from Spotify and Apple Music when I cancel?

Not automatically. Cancelling your subscription only stops billing. To remove your music from streaming platforms, you must separately email support@dittomusic.com and request a takedown. Removal takes up to 30 days across all stores.

Can I get a refund if I cancel before my subscription expires?

No. Ditto Music does not issue refunds for unused subscription time. The only exception is if Ditto is proven to be in direct violation of your agreement. If you purchased through the iOS app, you can request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What happens to my royalties after I cancel?

You must withdraw your royalties (minimum £25 GBP) before your subscription lapses. Once your subscription is inactive, you cannot withdraw royalties until you reactivate. Royalties from stores may continue arriving for up to 12 months after a takedown is requested, so Ditto recommends keeping your account open during this window.

Can I reactivate my Ditto Music subscription after cancelling?

Yes. Cancelling stops future billing but does not immediately delete your account. You can reactivate by purchasing a new subscription. Full account deletion requires emailing support@dittomusic.com.

Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?

Yes, but only for monthly subscribers. You can pause for one month at a time, for a maximum of three months total. Annual plan holders do not have a confirmed pause option and must cancel or wait for renewal.

How do I cancel if I subscribed through Google Play or the App Store?

For Android: open Google Play → Subscriptions → select Ditto Music → tap 'Cancel subscription'. For iOS: go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → select Ditto Music → tap 'Cancel Subscription'. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

Log in to your dashboard

Go to dashboard.dittomusic.com and log in with your Ditto Music account credentials.

Open Account Settings

Click the profile dropdown in the top-right corner of the dashboard, then select 'Account Settings'.

Navigate to Manage Subscription

Scroll down and click 'Manage Subscription'. Alternatively, use the left-hand navigation bar and click 'My Subscription'.

Initiate cancellation

Click 'Change Plan' or select the cancel option shown below your current plan details. Monthly subscribers will also see a 'Pause' option here — choose the cancel option to fully stop billing.

Confirm cancellation

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm you want to cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period with no further charges.

Request music takedown (optional)

Cancelling billing does not automatically remove your music from stores. If you want your releases taken down, email support@dittomusic.com with your release details and the stores you want them removed from. Takedown takes up to 30 days.

Withdraw royalties before cancelling

Before your subscription lapses, withdraw any accumulated royalties from your dashboard (minimum £25 GBP). Once your subscription is inactive, royalty withdrawals are blocked until you reactivate.
