What happens to my data and users after I cancel (downgrade to Free)?

Your tenant data, user accounts, and configurations are preserved when you downgrade to Free. You simply lose access to Pro-only features like RBAC, Organizations, MFA, and Enterprise SSO. Your data is not deleted.

Will I receive a refund when I cancel?

Yes, partially. The base plan fee is adjusted proportionately (pro-rated credit for unused days), and any unused add-on costs are refunded and deducted from your final bill. There is no documented full-refund policy.

Can I reactivate my Pro plan after cancelling?

Yes. If you downgraded to Free (and did not delete the tenant), you can re-upgrade to Pro at any time from the 'Your plan and billing' section in Tenant Settings.

How do I permanently delete my account and all data?

Cancelling (downgrading) does not delete your tenant or data. To permanently delete everything, go to Console > Tenant Settings > Settings, scroll to the deletion section, type your tenant name to confirm, and click delete. This action is irreversible.

When does the cancellation take effect?

Immediately. Unlike many SaaS services, Logto downgrades your plan instantly — not at the end of the billing period. Billing is adjusted pro-rata from the day you downgrade.

What if I am on an Enterprise plan?

Enterprise plans have custom terms. Contact Logto support directly at logto.io/contact or via the Logto Discord community to cancel or modify an Enterprise subscription.

Log in to Logto Cloud Console

Go to cloud.logto.io and sign in to your Logto Cloud account.

Open Tenant Settings

Click on your tenant name or the settings gear icon in the top navigation to open Tenant Settings.

Navigate to Plan and Billing

In the left sidebar, select 'Your plan and billing' (sometimes labelled 'Plan and Billing').

Select the Free plan

In the plan selector, choose the Free plan ($0/mo) and click to initiate the downgrade. This effectively cancels your paid Pro subscription.

Remove Pro-only features (if prompted)

If your tenant uses Pro-only features (RBAC, Organizations, MFA, Enterprise SSO), you must disable or remove those configurations before the downgrade can complete. Follow any on-screen prompts listing which features need to be removed.

Confirm the downgrade

Review the plan change summary and confirm. The downgrade takes immediate effect — billing is adjusted pro-rata and any unused add-on costs are refunded to your account.
