Do I lose access immediately after canceling?

No. When you downgrade from a paid plan, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account reverts to the Free tier limits (10k active series, 50 GB logs, 50 GB traces).

Will I get a refund for unused time?

Grafana Cloud does not issue refunds for unused portions of a billing period. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will not be charged for the next cycle.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

If you only downgrade to Free, your stacks and data are retained but subject to Free tier retention limits. If you delete your stack, all data is permanently and irreversibly removed. Download or export any important data before deleting a stack.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. You can upgrade back to a paid plan at any time by logging into the Cloud Portal, going to Billing, and selecting a plan. Your existing stack and data will still be there if you did not delete the stack.

How do I cancel if I subscribed via AWS Marketplace or Azure?

If your Grafana Cloud subscription was purchased through AWS Marketplace or Microsoft Azure Marketplace, you must cancel through that platform's subscription management console — not through the Grafana Cloud Portal directly.

How do I fully delete my Grafana account?

Account deletion requires opening a support ticket from within the authenticated Cloud Portal (not the public contact form). Start a free trial if you no longer have an active organization, then submit a deletion request via the ticket system.

Log in to Grafana Cloud

Go to grafana.com and sign in to your account. Click 'My Account' in the top-right corner to access the Cloud Portal dashboard.

Open the Billing section

In the Cloud Portal, locate the left-side navigation menu and click 'Billing'. This opens the billing and subscription management area where you can view invoices and manage your plan.

Manage your plan

In the Billing section, click 'Manage Plan' (or navigate to the Subscriptions tab). Here you can view your current paid plan (Pro or Advanced) and choose to downgrade or cancel.

Downgrade to Free tier

Select the option to downgrade to the Free tier, which effectively cancels your paid subscription without deleting your data. Confirm any prompts. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Delete your stack (optional, for full cancellation)

To fully remove all resources, return to the Cloud Portal home. In the 'Stacks' section, click 'Details' next to your stack, then click the red trash can icon labeled 'Delete Stack'. Type your stack name to confirm, then click 'Delete'. This action is irreversible.

Request account deletion (optional)

To delete your Grafana account entirely, open a support ticket from within the Cloud Portal (navigate to the support/ticket section). Do not use the public contact form at grafana.com/contact — it may redirect to Zoom scheduling. In the ticket, explicitly request full account deletion.
