Can I cancel Revolut Ultra through the website?

No. Revolut only allows plan changes — including downgrades — through the mobile app. There is no web-based cancellation option.

Will I get a refund when I cancel Ultra?

Only if you cancel within 14 days of subscribing (the cooling-off period). You'll receive a full refund, minus the £50 Ultra Card fee (or local equivalent) and any card delivery charges. After 14 days, no monetary refund is issued. Monthly subscribers within the first 6 months also owe one additional month as a break fee.

How long do I keep Ultra features after downgrading?

Your Ultra features (travel insurance, higher ATM limits, cashback, lounge access, priority support) remain fully active until the end of your current billing period — either the end of the month for monthly plans, or the end of the annual term for yearly plans.

Can I reactivate Ultra after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade back to Ultra at any time by going to Profile > your plan name > Change plan in the app. Standard upgrade pricing applies and a new billing cycle starts immediately.

What happens to my Ultra Metal Card if I downgrade?

Your Ultra Metal Card continues to function as a standard Revolut debit card for everyday payments. However, all Ultra-exclusive perks tied to the card (premium ATM limits, travel insurance, cashback, concierge) are deactivated at the end of the billing period.

How do I delete my Revolut account entirely?

To fully close your account, go to Profile > Help > Chat with us in the app and request account closure. Alternatively, you can write to Revolut at 30 South Colonnade, London, E14 5HX, UK. You must have a zero balance and no active cards before closure. Revolut retains data as required by financial regulations even after closure.

Open the Revolut app

Launch the Revolut app on your iPhone or Android device and log in using your PIN or biometrics.

Tap your profile icon

Tap the profile icon in the top-left corner of the home screen to open your account menu.

Tap your current plan name

Tap on "Ultra" (your current plan name shown beneath your name) to open the plan details screen.

Tap "Downgrade to Standard"

Scroll down the plan details screen and tap "Downgrade to Standard" (the free tier option at the bottom).

Review features you will lose

Revolut displays a list of all Ultra benefits you will lose (e.g., travel insurance, higher ATM limits, cashback, airport lounge access, priority support). Review the list carefully.

Confirm the downgrade

Tap "Downgrade" or "Continue" on the confirmation prompt to finalise the plan change. Your Ultra features remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
