How long until my service stops after I submit the cancellation?

Billing stops within 24 hours of Türk Telekom receiving your cancellation request. The full technical cancellation (line disconnection) is completed within 7 days.

Will I be charged a penalty for cancelling before my contract ends?

Yes. Cancelling before the commitment period ends triggers a clawback of all discounts, promotional benefits, and device subsidies received up to that point. The exact amount depends on how much of the commitment period remains and what promotions were applied to your plan.

Do I have to return the fiber modem and ONT?

Yes. Both the HGW modem and ONT (optical network terminal/signal converter), along with all accessories (power adapter, Ethernet cable), must be returned to a Türk Telekom store within 14 days of cancellation. If you purchased the modem via installments rather than renting it, verify your contract — owned devices do not need to be returned.

Can I cancel by phone or in person instead of using e-Devlet?

Yes. Call 444 1 444 and ask a representative to process the cancellation, visit any Türk Telekom store in person, or send a signed cancellation petition with a copy of your ID to internettivibuiptal@turktelekom.com.tr. The e-Devlet method is the fastest fully self-service option.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancellation?

Yes, you can apply for a new subscription, but you will need to sign a new contract. You may not qualify for the same promotional pricing, and a new installation appointment may be required for fiber reconnection.

Will I get a refund for unused days in my billing period?

Generally no — Türk Telekom does not prorate refunds for partial billing periods. Any outstanding balance, including equipment charges if the modem/ONT is not returned on time, will appear on your final bill and must be paid.

Go to e-Devlet cancellation page

Visit https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/turk-telekom-abonelik-fesih-basvurusu — the official Türk Telekom subscription cancellation service on the Turkish Government e-Devlet portal.

Log in with strong authentication

Authenticate using one of the accepted methods: Mobile Signature (Mobil İmza), Electronic Signature (Elektronik İmza), National ID Card (T.C. Kimlik Kartı reader), or Bank credentials (Banka). Standard e-Devlet username/password is not accepted — a strong auth method is required.

Find your TTNET subscription

Your active telecom subscriptions are listed on the page. Locate 'TTNET' (Türk Telekom internet) in the list and click 'Abonelik Sorgula' (Query Subscription) to load your subscription details.

Click 'Fesih Başvurusu Yap'

Click the 'Fesih Başvurusu Yap' (Make Cancellation Application) button. Check the confirmation checkbox that appears, then click 'Devam' (Continue) to proceed to the next step.

Select cancellation reason

On the 'Fesih Başvuru Nedeni' (Cancellation Reason) page, select your reason for cancelling from the provided options (e.g. moving, switching provider, cost).

Download, fill, and upload petition form

Download the sample cancellation petition ('Örnek Fesih Dilekçesi'), fill in your name, TC identity number, subscription/line number, and reason, then upload the completed document back to the portal.

Submit with 'Başvur' button

Click 'Başvur' (Apply) to finalize the request. You will receive an on-screen confirmation. Billing stops within 24 hours; full cancellation is processed within 7 days.

Return fiber equipment within 14 days

Bring the HGW modem, ONT device (optical signal converter), power adapter, and Ethernet cable to any Türk Telekom store or office within 14 days of cancellation. Failure to return equipment results in a device charge (approximately 700 TL) added to your final bill.
