Log in to Cloudflare Dashboard
Go to dash.cloudflare.com and sign in to your account.
Delete KV-backend Durable Objects (if applicable)
If your Workers use Durable Objects with KV storage backend, you must delete them before downgrading. Remove the class references from your Worker code and wrangler.toml, add the class to 'deleted_classes' in a migration block, then deploy with 'npx wrangler deploy'. Warning: this permanently deletes all stored data. (Durable Objects using the SQLite backend can remain — they are supported on the Free plan.)
Open Billing & Subscriptions
Click your account name in the top-left, then navigate to Manage Account > Billing > Subscriptions. Locate the 'Active Subscriptions' section.
Find the Workers Paid Subscription
Find the row labeled 'Workers & Pages' or 'Workers Paid' in the Active Subscriptions list. Check the 'RENEWS ON' date shown in the Service Status column.
Click Cancel or Change Plan
In the Action column for the Workers subscription, click the 'Cancel' button. If no Cancel button is visible, click 'Change' and select the Free plan option from the dropdown. Both paths lead to downgrading from the paid plan.
Complete the Cancellation Survey
A feedback screen appears with multi-select checkboxes asking for your cancellation reason. Select all applicable reasons, then click 'Confirm' to proceed.
Verify Cancellation Status
Return to Manage Account > Billing > Subscriptions. The subscription row should now show 'ENDING ON [date]' in the Service Status column, confirming the cancellation is queued. You retain Workers Paid access until that date.
