Can I cancel Keeper Business without contacting support?

No. There is no self-service cancellation option in the Admin Console or on the website. You must email keepersuccess@keepersecurity.com to initiate cancellation.

Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-subscription?

Officially no. Keeper's Terms of Use state all fees are nonrefundable. You retain access through the end of the paid billing period. Some customers have successfully disputed early auto-renewal charges (Keeper renews 2–3 weeks before the expiration date) through BBB complaints or chargebacks.

What happens to my vault data after cancellation?

Your data remains accessible until the end of your paid billing period. After account deletion, vault data is permanently and irrecoverably deleted — Keeper's zero-knowledge model means they cannot retrieve it. Export all vault records before canceling.

Can I turn off auto-renewal without fully canceling?

Not through the website or Admin Console UI. You must contact support at keepersuccess@keepersecurity.com to disable auto-renewal. Given Keeper auto-renews 2–3 weeks before expiration, request this well in advance of your renewal date.

How long does the cancellation process take?

Keeper does not publish a processing timeline. Given the email-only process and common retention call requests, allow several business days. Charges for individual users removed from the Admin Console stop the following day.

Export all vault data

Before canceling, ensure all users export their vault data. In the Keeper Admin Console (keepersecurity.com/console), instruct each user to export their vault records. Vault data is permanently deleted after account closure — Keeper's zero-knowledge model means data cannot be recovered.

Verify you are the account Admin

Only the account Administrator can initiate a Business/Enterprise cancellation. Log in to the Keeper Admin Console at keepersecurity.com/console and confirm your Admin role before proceeding.

Email keepersuccess@keepersecurity.com

Send a cancellation request email to keepersuccess@keepersecurity.com. Include your organization/account name, billing details, and a clear statement that you want to cancel the subscription and disable auto-renewal. There is no self-service cancellation — this email is the only online method.

Respond to or decline retention call

Keeper's support team often responds by requesting a call before processing cancellation. You can decline and insist on written email confirmation. If you accept the call, expect retention offers and be prepared to re-state your cancellation request clearly.

Receive written cancellation confirmation

Once Keeper processes the cancellation, you will receive a confirmation email. Save this for your records. Access to the Business plan continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

Optionally remove users from Admin Console

If you want to stop per-seat billing before the period ends, go to Admin Console → Managed Companies → Launch (your company) → click the Edit icon next to each user → User Actions → 'Delete User'. Charges for deleted users stop the following day. Note: removing all users does not cancel the subscription contract.
