Will I lose access immediately after cancelling?

No. You keep full premium access until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual). After that, the account reverts to the free plan with limited course access.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

DataCamp's policy states all fees are non-refundable. In some auto-renewal dispute cases they have issued a one-time courtesy refund for the most recent charge, but this is discretionary and not guaranteed.

Is my course progress saved after I cancel?

Yes. Your XP, course progress, certificates, and account data are all preserved. You can resubscribe at any time and pick up where you left off.

How do I reactivate my subscription?

While your cancelled subscription is still active (within the billing period), go to Account Settings → Subscriptions and click 'Reactivate Subscription'. After expiry, simply purchase a new subscription.

Can I pause instead of cancelling?

Monthly plan subscribers can pause for 1, 2, or 3 months via Account Settings → Subscriptions. Annual plan subscribers cannot pause their subscription.

Does cancelling delete my account and data?

No. Cancellation only stops billing — your account and data remain intact. To permanently delete your account, you must submit a separate account deletion request via DataCamp's support.

Log in to DataCamp

Go to datacamp.com and log in to your account.

Open Account Settings

Click the dropdown arrow next to your profile picture in the top-right corner, then select 'Account Settings'.

Go to Subscriptions tab

Click the 'Subscriptions' tab in your account settings.

Click Manage Subscription

Click the 'Manage Subscription' button.

Bypass the pause offer

DataCamp presents a retention screen offering to pause your subscription (monthly plans only: 1, 2, or 3 months). Click 'Continue to Cancel' to proceed with cancellation instead.

Select a cancellation reason

Choose a reason for cancelling from the list or dropdown shown on screen.

Confirm cancellation

Click 'Confirm Cancellation'. Your subscription will not renew, and you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
