Yes. Service continues until the cancellation is processed, which typically takes 24–48 business hours after your request is submitted.

Will I receive a refund for unused days?

VTR does not publicly advertise a prorated refund policy. Any billing disputes should be directed to customer service at 600 800 9000 or via the Sucursal Virtual.

Do I need to return any equipment?

Yes. You must return all VTR-leased equipment, such as the cable modem, after disconnection. Failure to return equipment will result in an economic penalty charge.

Can I reactivate my VTR service after cancelling?

Yes, you can request a new service contract through the VTR website, by calling 600 800 9000, or by visiting a VTR branch. Prior account history may affect offers available to you.

What if I can't cancel online — are there other options?

Log in to Sucursal Virtual

Go to VTR's Sucursal Virtual portal and log in using your RUT (or registered email) and password. Only the account holder (titular) can submit a cancellation request.

Navigate to Solicitudes

From the top menu, click on 'SOLICITUDES'. On mobile, access this section via the icon on the right side of the navigation bar.

Open the cancellation form

Find the section labeled 'Solicitar baja de servicios' and click the 'INGRESAR' button to open the cancellation request form.

Select the service(s) to cancel

Choose which service(s) you want to cancel: Internet, Telefonía fija (landline), Televisión, or Móvil. You can select one or multiple services.

Select customer type

Indicate your customer type by selecting either 'Persona' (individual) or 'Empresa' (business).

Enter contact details and reason

Enter your phone number and select or describe your reason for cancellation. VTR may present alternative plan options at this stage — you can skip these by proceeding to submit.

Submit the request

Click the 'Enviar' button to submit your cancellation request. You will receive a confirmation and the service will be cancelled within 24–48 business hours.
