Can I still use Play.ht after I cancel?

Yes. Access to your paid plan continues until the end of the current billing period. After it expires, your account reverts to the free tier with limited features and character quotas.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Refunds are only granted within 24 hours of purchase and only if you have used fewer than 5,000 characters. There are no prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations. UK and EU users are entitled to a full refund (minus pro-rata usage) within 14 days of initial subscription under consumer law.

Will my projects and audio files be deleted?

Saved TTS projects remain in your account after downgrading to the free tier. It is strongly recommended to export any important audio files before your billing period ends, as premium features will be restricted.

Can I reactivate my subscription later?

Yes. You can re-subscribe at any time through the Billing section in the Studio. Your previous projects should still be accessible once you resubscribe.

What if I can't find the Cancel button in my account?

Confirm cancellation

After the survey, click 'Confirm Cancellation' to finalize. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Check for confirmation email

You should receive a confirmation email. If the Cancel button is missing from your Billing page, email support@play.ht directly requesting cancellation and keep a timestamped record.
