Can I still access my content after cancelling?

If you downgrade to the Free plan, all existing content is preserved but you cannot create new documents and are limited to 50 docs/50 users. If you delete the workspace entirely, you receive a backup download link via email valid for 15 days — after that, all data is permanently deleted.

Will I get a refund if I cancel an annual plan early?

No. Slite's Fair Billing Policy states that credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. There is no prorated refund for early cancellation of annual plans. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes, if you downgraded to the Free plan. Go to Workspace Settings > Billing and select a paid plan to re-upgrade at any time. If you deleted the workspace entirely, reactivation is not possible — the workspace and all data are permanently gone.

What happens if I just delete my workspace instead of cancelling billing?

Deleting your workspace removes all content immediately, but may not automatically stop your Stripe billing subscription. You should cancel or downgrade your plan in Billing Settings before or immediately after deleting the workspace to avoid being charged for a deleted account.

Who can cancel a Slite subscription?

Only workspace admins can change the billing plan. Only the workspace owner can fully delete the workspace. Regular members have no access to billing settings.

What if I can't find a cancel button in the Billing settings?

Contact Slite support directly at support@slite.com or use the in-app chat widget. Slite offers Email, Chat, and Phone support. Reference your workspace name and request a plan downgrade or cancellation.

Log in as workspace admin

Go to https://app.slite.com and sign in. Only workspace admins or the workspace owner can manage billing — regular members cannot cancel.

Open workspace menu

Click your workspace name or avatar in the top-left corner of the app to open the workspace dropdown menu.

Go to Workspace Settings

Select 'Workspace Settings' (sometimes labeled 'Team Settings') from the dropdown menu.

Navigate to Billing

In the left sidebar of Workspace Settings, click 'Billing'. This opens the Billing Overview page showing your current plan, seat count, and payment details.

Manage or downgrade your plan

On the Billing Overview page, click 'Manage Plan' or the plan tier row to access plan options. Select the Free plan or a lower tier to stop paying. If no self-service downgrade is visible, proceed to contact support@slite.com to request cancellation.

Confirm the plan change

Confirm the downgrade or cancellation when prompted. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which the workspace reverts to the Free tier (50 docs / 50 users limit).
