Can I still access courses after I cancel?

Yes, you retain full access to all Personal Plan courses until the last day of your current billing period. After that, subscription-only content becomes inaccessible.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

No. Udemy does not offer partial or pro-rated refunds for cancelling a Personal Plan subscription (monthly or annual). Access simply continues until the billing period ends.

Do I keep courses I purchased individually?

Yes. Any course you purchased separately (outside the Personal Plan) is yours permanently with lifetime access and is unaffected by cancelling the subscription.

Can I reactivate my Personal Plan later?

Yes. You can re-subscribe to the Personal Plan at any time. Udemy saves your progress, notes, and Q&A history, so you can pick up where you left off.

Do I keep my certificates after cancelling?

Yes. Any Certificates of Completion earned while subscribed remain in your account permanently, even after cancellation.

Can I cancel through the mobile app?

Log in to Udemy

Go to udemy.com and log in with your email and password using a desktop or mobile web browser. Note: cancellation is not available through the Udemy mobile app.

Open Account Settings

Click your profile photo in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu, then select 'Account settings'.

Navigate to Subscriptions

In the left sidebar of Account Settings, click 'Subscriptions' to view your current plan and billing information.

Click Cancel Subscription

Locate your active Personal Plan subscription and click the 'Cancel subscription' button.

Confirm Cancellation

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your cancellation. Udemy may present a retention offer (e.g. switch to annual billing at ~17% savings) — click through to proceed with cancellation.

Check Confirmation Email

You will see an on-screen confirmation message and receive a cancellation confirmation email. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period shown on your Subscriptions page.
