Will I get a refund when I cancel?

No. Recruitee's Terms of Service explicitly state that no fees will be refunded or credited upon cancellation, regardless of how much time remains in the billing period.

How long do I keep access after canceling?

You retain full access to your account, careers site, and candidate database until the end of your current billing period.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Recruitee retains your data for up to 30 calendar days after the subscription ends. You will be notified before deletion. API access for data export remains available during those 30 days.

How do I export my data before canceling?

Go to the Candidates tab, click the three-dot menu, and select 'Export to CSV' to download candidate data. For jobs, use the XML feed at https://YOURCOMPANY.recruitee.com/api/offers.xml or the open API.

Can I reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. Go to Settings > Billing and click 'Reactivate plan' next to your canceled plan, as long as you are within the 30-day data retention window and your data has not yet been deleted.

How much notice is required to avoid auto-renewal on a yearly plan?

Yearly subscribers must submit a non-renewal notice 90 calendar days before the subscription expiry date, per Recruitee's Terms of Service. Missing this window results in automatic renewal for another year.

Log in to Recruitee

Open Billing Settings

Click on your avatar or company name, then navigate to Settings > Billing in the left sidebar.

Click 'Change plan'

On the Billing page, locate your current active plan and click the 'Change plan' button next to it. (Legacy plan users: first click 'View plans' in the blue banner at the top of the screen.)

Select 'Cancel subscription'

In the plan selection screen, look for and click 'Cancel subscription' listed beneath your current plan details.

Complete the feedback survey

Recruitee presents a mandatory multi-step retention flow asking why you are canceling, framed as 'we'd like to see if we can help you before you go.' Work through each step of the survey.

Confirm cancellation

On the final step (Step 3 of the flow), confirm you still wish to cancel. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
