Can I still use Lebara after I turn off auto-renew?

Yes. Turning off auto-renew does not immediately cancel your service. You retain full access to your current plan (calls, texts, data) until the plan's expiry date. After that, service stops unless you manually recharge.

Will I get a refund on my remaining balance or unused plan?

No. Lebara does not refund remaining credit, unused data, or unused allowances from a prepaid plan. Any leftover balance is forfeited when the plan expires or the account is closed.

Can I keep my phone number if I cancel?

You can port your number to a new provider before cancelling, which automatically terminates your Lebara account. Request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) by texting 'PAC' to 65075 or by calling customer service. Porting must be completed before your number is deactivated.

What happens if I just stop topping up instead of formally cancelling?

If you stop topping up, Lebara will automatically deactivate and cancel your number after approximately 90 days of inactivity. Your number will be recycled and given to another user after this period.

Are there any cancellation fees?

No. Lebara operates on prepaid, no-contract rolling plans. There are no exit fees, cancellation charges, or notice periods required. You can cancel at any time.

Can I reactivate my Lebara SIM after cancelling?

If your SIM was recently deactivated (within the 90-day inactivity window), you may be able to reactivate by topping up or purchasing a new plan. After the 90-day period, the number is permanently reassigned and you would need a new SIM card.

Log in to MyLebara

Go to https://mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/ and click 'Log in' in the top right corner. Enter your email address and password to access your MyLebara Dashboard.

Go to Manage Plan

Once logged in, navigate to the 'My Plan' or 'Manage Plan' section of your dashboard. This is where your current active plan and renewal settings are displayed.

Toggle off Auto Renew

Find the 'Auto Renew' toggle under your plan details and switch it off. This prevents your 30-day rolling plan from automatically renewing at the end of the current period. Your plan remains active until its expiry date.

Disable Auto Top-Up (if active)

Scroll to find 'Manage your auto top up' located just below your balance. Slide the toggle to the off position to stop any automatic top-up charges.

Alternative: Cancel via SMS

If you prefer SMS, text your bundle code followed by '*STOP' to 38885 (e.g., 'SIM30*STOP'). This must be sent at least 3 hours before midnight on the day your plan expires to take effect.

Request full account deletion (optional)

To fully delete your MyLebara account, contact Lebara Customer Service: call 0207 031 0791 (or freephone 0800 640 6303, or dial 5588 from your Lebara mobile), or email [email protected]. Clearly state you want your account and number cancelled.
